Acquired':

Signed as a free agent 2005

2006:

Appeared in seven regular season games for the Lions as well as the West Championship and Grey Cup. Appearing primarily on special teams, Johnson recorded seven defensive tackles, five special teams stops, one pass knockdown, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery and 39-yard TD return in Week 1 versus Saskatchewan. Jamall also added two special teams tackles in the West Championship and one more in the Grey Cup.

2005:

Came on strong as the season closed and made it onto the active roster for the final four games. Saw considerable playing time as a back up and on special teams recording 7 tackles. Forced a key fumble in the 2005 West Championship game vs Edmonton.

Notable:

Made the Lions coming out of training camp in 2005 and earned a spot on special teams and as a back-up linebacker. Made his first CFL start versus Saskatchewan in Week 13 (Oct. 1/05).

College:

Enjoyed an incredible two seasons for the Northwestern State Demons racking-up 217 tackles and 10 sacks. Named the Southland Conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2004 and was named a first-team conference all-star twice.

Personal:

Jamall was a Business Administration major while at Northwestern State, where he was Newcomer of the Year in 2003, an All-American in 2003 and 2004 and won the Division II National Championship in 2000. During the off-season, he stays in shape by playing basketball.
