Jack Graney (John Gladstone Graney) was born on June 10, 1886 in St. Thomas, Ontario (Canada). He made his Major League debut on April 30, 1908 for the Cleveland Naps. In 1910, his rookie year, he hit .236 with 1 home run and 31 RBI. Graney played for the Cleveland Naps and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 14 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Jack Graney's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1916, when he knocked in 54 runs. However, others believe that it was 1913, when he stole 27 bases and knocked in 68 runs.
