Jack Flavin (John Henry Flavin) was born on January 25, 1900 in Portland, Maine. After going to high school at Portland (ME), Flavin attended Georgetown University. Flavin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Buffalo All-Americans. He played for the Buffalo Bisons and Buffalo All-Americans over the course of his 2 year career.
