J.W. Porter

JW Porter (J W Porter) was born on January 17, 1933 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He made his Major League debut on July 30, 1952 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1957, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 2 home runs and 18 RBI. Porter played for the St. Louis Browns, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.
