J.V. Cain (James Victor Cain) was born on July 22, 1951 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Houston, TX), Cain attended the University of Colorado. Cain made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was J.V. Cain's best year, as he caught 5 TD passes.
