Irish McIlveen (Henry Cooke McIlveen) was born on July 27, 1880 in Belfast, Ireland. He made his Major League debut on July 4, 1906 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1908, his rookie year, he hit .213 with 0 home runs and 8 RBI. McIlveen played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Highlanders over the course of his 2 year career.
