Ira Mcintosh (Ira Daniel McIntosh) was born on April 12, 1903 in Providence, Rhode Island. After going to high school at Tech (Providence, RI), Mcintosh attended the University of Rhode Island. Mcintosh made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Providence Steam Roller. He played for the Providence Steam Roller for his entire 2 year career.
