Hub Walker (Harvey Willos Walker) was born on August 17, 1906 in Gulfport, Mississippi. He made his Major League debut on April 15, 1931 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1931, his rookie year, he hit .286 with 0 home runs and 16 RBI. Walker played for the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Hub Walker's best season was 1936, when he hit for a .275 average.
