Hub Northen (Hubbard Edwin Northen) was born on August 16, 1886 in Atlanta, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 10, 1910 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1912, his rookie year, he hit .282 with 3 home runs and 46 RBI. Northen played for the St. Louis Browns and Brooklyn Superbas over the course of his 3 year career.
