Howie Maley (Howard Edward Maley) was born on December 6, 1921. Maley attended Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas-Arlington. Maley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Howie Maley's best year, as he had a 40.6 yard punt average.
