Howie Goss (Howard Wayne Goss) was born on November 1, 1934 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He made his Major League debut on April 10, 1962 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .209 with 9 home runs and 44 RBI. Goss played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Houston Colt .45s over the course of his 2 year career.
