How To Add Logos To Your Fanbox

As some people have noticed, there has been a slight change occuring with some fan boxes on people's profiles. Instead of having the customary three or four letters on the left-hand side, they now show the team's logo. To help others add logos to their favorite fanbox, I've written up these quick and easy steps. All you need is a picture editing program such as Paint.
Step 1: Find a logo.
Go to Google and search for your team's logo. A small image with a white background works best. The best size has about 40 pixels in height.
Step 2: Copy/paste into Paint.
Self-explanatory.
Step 3: Crop it
Click out of the selection and drag the borders of the big white space so they fit appropriately around the image. The drag spots are designated by small translucent squares.
Step 4: Save
Save as a .jpg file.
Step 5: Upload image to ArmchairGM
Use the "upload" link on the sidebar.
Step 6: Edit the Fanbox's Template
This gets a little tricky. Search for the fanbox of your choice under the category "Template". (Categories are changed at the bottom of the search page.) Once you are there, go into "edit." It should look something like this:
"<div style="float: left; border: solid #000000 1px; margin: 1px;"> {| cellspacing="0" style="width: 238px; color: #000000; background: red;" | style="width: 45px; height: 45px; background: darkblue; text-align: center; font-size: 14pt;" |<font color="white">'''WAS'''</font> | style="font-size: 8pt; padding: 4pt; line-height: 1.25em;" | This user is a '''[[Washington Nationals]]''' fan. |} </div> <includeonly>[[Category:Washington Nationals fans|{{PAGENAME}}]]</includeonly>
Go to the part where it says <font color=XXXXX>'''XXXX'''</font>. Replace this section with an image link. This is done by writing "[Image:yourimage.jpg]" in the selected spot. Do not save yet!
Step 7: Final Touchups
Click on "preview." You may have a weird border around your logo. This is because your background inside the left-hand box is the wrong color. About three lines down there should be a space that says "| style="width: 45px; height: 45px; background: darkblue;", etc. Change whatever color is next to "background" to white. This should clear up any problems.
