Houston Hoover (Houston Roosevelt Hoover) was born on February 6, 1965 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. After going to high school at Yazoo City (MS), Hoover attended Jackson State University. Hoover made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1990 was Houston Hoover's best year.
