Homer Hanson (Homer Peter Hanson) was born on July 25, 1910 in Riley, Kansas. After going to high school at Riley (KS), Hanson attended Kansas State University. Hanson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1934 with the Cincinnati-St. Louis Reds-Gunners. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Cincinnati-St. Louis Reds-Gunners over the course of his 2 year career.
