Hogan Wharton (Robert Glenn Wharton) was born on December 13, 1935 in Hood County, Texas. After going to high school at Orange (TX), Wharton attended the University of Houston. Wharton made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers for his entire 4 year career.
