Hez Braxton (Hezekiah Ezekial Braxton, III) was born on April 11, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland. After going to high school at Frederick Douglass (Baltimore, MD), Braxton attended Virginia Union University. Braxton made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Buffalo Bills and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Hez Braxton's best year.
