Herschel Forester (Herschel Vincent Forester) was born on April 14, 1931 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at Woodrow Wilson (Dallas, TX), Forester attended Southern Methodist University. Forester made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1957 was Herschel Forester's best year.
