Herdis Mccrary (Herdis William McCray) was born on June 9, 1904 in Bicknell, Indiana. After going to high school at Bicknell (IN), Mccrary attended the University of Georgia. Mccrary made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1930 was Herdis Mccrary's best year, as he ran in 4 TDs.
