Herb Hunter (Herbert Harrison Hunter) was born on December 25, 1895 in Boston, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on April 29, 1916 for the New York Giants. Hunter played for the New York Giants, Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career.
