Herb DeWitz (Herbert A. DeWitz) was born on August 14, 1902 in Stanton, Nebraska. DeWitz attended the University of Nebraska. DeWitz made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Kansas City Blues. He played for the Cleveland Bulldogs and Kansas City Blues over the course of his 2 year career.
