Heinie Jawish (Henry King Jawish) was born on February 15, 1900 in Syria. After going to high school at Emerson (Washington, DC), Jawish attended George Washington University and Georgetown University. Jawish made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Pottsville Maroons. He played for the Pottsville Maroons for his entire 1 year career.
