Harvey Hendrick (Harvey Hendrick) was born on November 9, 1897 in Mason, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1923 for the New York Yankees. In 1927, his rookie year, he hit .310 with 4 home runs and 50 RBI. Hendrick played for the New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Brooklyn Robins, Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 11 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Harvey Hendrick's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1929, when he hit for a .354 average and knocked in 82 runs. However, others believe that it was 1927, when he stole 29 bases, hit for a .310 average and knocked in 50 runs.
