Harry Truby (Harry Garvin Truby) was born on May 12, 1870 in Ironton, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on August 21, 1895 for the Chicago Colts. In 1896, his rookie year, he hit .234 with 2 home runs and 34 RBI. Truby played for the Chicago Colts and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 2 year career.
