Harry Simpson (Harry Leon Simpson) was born on December 3, 1925 in Atlanta, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on April 21, 1951 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1951, his rookie year, he hit .229 with 7 home runs and 24 RBI. Simpson played for the Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Athletics, New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Harry Simpson's best season was 1956, when he slugged 21 home runs, hit for a .293 average and knocked in 105 runs.
