Born on November 10, 1878 in Pomeroy, Ohio, Cy Morgan (Harry Richard Morgan) played for the St. Louis Browns, Boston Americans, Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Athletics and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 10 year career. Morgan broke into the bigs on September 18, 1903 with the St. Louis Browns, and put up a 3.71 ERA in 51 innings pitched in 1904, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Cy Morgan's best season was 1910, when he posted a 1.55 ERA, won 18 games and struck out 134 batters.
