Harry Gunderson (Arthur Henry Gunderson) was born on November 9, 1887 in Rolfe, Iowa. After going to high school at Central (Minneapolis, MN), Gunderson attended the University of Iowa. Gunderson made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Rock Island Independents. He played for the Minneapolis Marines and Rock Island Independents over the course of his 2 year career.
