Harry Chapman (Harry E. Chapman) was born on October 26, 1887 in Severance, Kansas. He made his Major League debut on October 6, 1912 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1914, his rookie year, he hit .210 with 0 home runs and 14 RBI. Chapman played for the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Terriers and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 4 year career.
