Harry Carson (Harold Donald Carson) was born on November 26, 1953 in Florence, South Carolina. After going to high school at McClenaghan (Florence, SC), Carson attended South Carolina State University. Carson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 13 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Harry Carson's best year, as he picked off 3 passes, recovered 3 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
