Harold Lester (Harold W. Lester) was born on March 13, 1900 in New London, Connecticut. After going to high school at East Providence (RI), Lester attended none. Lester made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Providence Steam Roller. He played for the Providence Steam Roller for his entire 1 year career.
