Hal Turner (Harold Turner) was born on December 5, 1929. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK), Turner attended Tennessee State University. Turner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
