Hal Crisler (Harold James Crisler) was born on December 31, 1923 in Richmond, California. Crisler attended Iowa State University and San Jose State University. Crisler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the Boston Yanks, Washington Redskins and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Hal Crisler's best year, as he had 599 receiving yards and caught 6 TD passes.
