Gus Fisher (August Harris Fisher) was born on October 21, 1885 in Pottsboro, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1911 for the Cleveland Naps. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .261 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Fisher played for the Cleveland Naps and New York Highlanders over the course of his 2 year career.
