Goldie Sellers (Goldie Sellers) was born on January 9, 1942 in Winnsboro, Louisiana. After going to high school at Richwood (Monroe, LA), Sellers attended Grambling State University. Sellers made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1966 was Goldie Sellers's best year, as he picked off 3 passes, had 541 kick return yards and ran back 2 kickoffs for touchdowns.
