Born on December 15, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona, Gil Blanco (Gilbert Henry Blanco) played for the New York Yankees and Kansas City Athletics over the course of his 2 year career. Blanco broke into the bigs on April 24, 1965 with the New York Yankees.
