Gibby Brack (Gilbert Herman Brack) was born on March 29, 1908 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 23, 1937 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In 1937, his rookie year, he hit .274 with 5 home runs and 38 RBI. Brack played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 3 year career.
