Born on April 18, 1946 in Pasadena, California, Gerry Janeski (Gerald Joseph Janeski) played for the Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators and Texas Rangers over the course of his 3 year career. Janeski broke into the bigs on April 10, 1970 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 4.77 ERA in 205.2 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.
