Geronimo Berroa (Geronimo Emiliano Letta Berroa) was born on March 18, 1965 in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on April 5, 1989 for the Atlanta Braves. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 2 home runs and 9 RBI. Berroa played for the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Florida Marlins, Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Geronimo Berroa's best season was 1996, when he slugged 36 home runs, hit for a .290 average and knocked in 106 runs.
