Gerald Tinker (Gerald Alexander Tinker) was born on January 19, 1951 in Miami, Florida. After going to high school at Coral Gables (FL), Tinker attended Kent State University and the University of Memphis. Tinker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1974 was Gerald Tinker's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown and had 704 kick return yards.
