Born on March 26, 1968 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Gerald Alexander (Gerald Paul Alexander) played for the Texas Rangers for his entire 3 year career. Alexander broke into the bigs on September 9, 1990 with the Texas Rangers, and put up a 5.24 ERA in 89.1 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.
