George Youngblood (George Alton Youngblood) was born on January 4, 1945 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Jordan (Los Angeles, CA), Youngblood attended Los Angeles State. Youngblood made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was George Youngblood's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
