George Vanderloo (Vivian Bernard Vanderloo) was born on April 11, 1897 in Coon Rapids, Iowa. After going to high school at Coon Rapids (IA), Vanderloo attended Iowa State University. Vanderloo made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Rock Island Independents. He played for the Rock Island Independents for his entire 6 year career.
