George Tully (George Chandler Tully) was born on March 12, 1904 in Orange, New Jersey. After going to high school at East Orange (NJ), Tully attended Dartmouth College. Tully made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the Philadelphia Quakers. He played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the Philadelphia Quakers the entire time. Tully also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Frankford Yellow Jackets the entire time.
