George Tarasovic (George Kenneth Tarasovic) was born on May 6, 1930 in Granville, New York. After going to high school at Warren G. Harding (Bridgeport, CT), Tarasovic attended Boston College and Louisiana State University. Tarasovic made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in the NFL for 12 years, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 12 year NFL career.Tarasovic also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1965 was George Tarasovic's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
