George Strugar (George Ralph Strugar) was born on April 2, 1934 in Cle Elum, Washington. After going to high school at Renton (WA), Strugar attended the University of Washington. Strugar made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 6 year NFL career.Strugar also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Jets the entire time.

Most people believe that 1961 was George Strugar's best year.
