George Starke (George Lawrence Starke) was born on July 18, 1948 in New York, New York. After going to high school at New Rochelle (NY), Starke attended Columbia University. Starke made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was George Starke's best year.
