George Snell (George Albert Snell) was born on July 9, 1897. After going to high school at Reading (PA), Snell attended Pennsylvania State University. Snell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Brooklyn Lions. He played for the Buffalo Bisons and Brooklyn Lions over the course of his 2 year career.
