George Sergienko (George Segienko) was born on May 22, 1918 in Chicopee, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Chicopee Falls (MA), Sergienko attended American International College. Sergienko made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Boston Yanks, Brooklyn Tigers and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 3 year NFL career.Sergienko also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers the entire time.

Most people believe that 1945 was George Sergienko's best year.
