George Rose (George Lee Rose) was born on January 1, 1942 in Brunswick, Georgia. After going to high school at Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA), Rose attended Auburn University. Rose made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1964 was George Rose's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
