George Mcafee (George Anderson McAfee) was born on March 13, 1918 in Corbin, Kentucky. After going to high school at Ironton (OH), Mcafee attended Duke University. Mcafee made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1941 was George Mcafee's best year, as he ran in 6 TDs, picked off 6 passes, ran back an interception for a touchdown, ran back a punt for a touchdown and ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.
