Gene Vidal (Eugene L. Vidal) was born on April 13, 1895 in Madison, South Dakota. After going to high school at Madison (SD), Vidal attended Army College, the University of Nebraska and the University of South Dakota. Vidal made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Washington Senators. He played for the Washington Senators for his entire 1 year career.
